Soda ash is also effective in combating gray mold. Soda helps to destroy the larvae of various pests. You can save garden crops from their reproduction using a mixture of soda and flour. You can get rid of this fungal disease with an aqueous solution of laundry soap and soda ash in a ratio of 40g / 50g. It is necessary to spray plants affected by the fungus with this mixture in cloudy weather. If powdery mildew has not yet been found, then in order to prevent this solution, garden crops are treated 1-2 times per season, starting from their growing season.

Soda ash is useful for aphids - small insects that suck the juices from plants. If the aphid population multiplies strongly on plants, it is able to completely destroy them. It is soda ash that is considered the most effective remedy in the fight against these pests. To get rid of aphids with it, you need to make a special solution - it consists of 1 tablespoon of soda, 1 glass of chopped onions and 10 liters of water. This mixture is abundantly sprayed on areas affected by aphids until the parasites completely disappear from the plants.

You can also use baking soda to rejuvenate rose bushes. To do this, prepare a solution of half a teaspoon of ammonia, 5 liters of water, 1 teaspoon of salt and soda. Rose bushes are treated with this solution no more than once every 10 days.
