Acetone those 2914110000
Acetone (dimethyl ketone, systematic name: propan-2-one) is the simplest representative of ketones.
Formula: CH3-C (O) -CH3. Colorless readily volatile liquid with a characteristic odor. Fully miscible with water and most organic solvents. Acetone dissolves well many organic substances (cellulose acetate and nitrocellulose, wax, rubber, etc.), as well as a number of salts (calcium chloride, potassium iodide).
Acetone is a popular solvent, significantly superior to gasoline in terms of safety, turpentine and partly kerosene.
In particular, it is used as a solvent in the production of varnishes, in the production of explosives, in the production of drugs, in the composition of film glue as a solvent for cellulose acetate and celluloid, component for cleaning surfaces in various industrial processes, as a cleaner for tools and surfaces from polyurethane foam, in aerosol cans.
